Mon, 22 September 2008 Milton Jackson - Dark Energy EP
Out now on Beatport No October mix this month I'm afraid, I'm off on honeymoon to Vegas and Hawaii yassss. Dark Energy is my new label releasing some serious bizness dark energetic stuff etc. Toodle-pip!
Reactions Ryan Raddon (Kaskade) Yes, this is dope. Milton is king. Thanks for the music both tracks will be in rotation. Laurent Garnier super organic deep techno realy like both tracks Full club support from me Satoshi Tomiie Never Be Right is simply amazing. Those chords coming in the middle are the best part. (Licensed to Satoshi Tomiie Renaissance compilation) Chris Duckenfield (Swag) Ta for the link mister - fantastic tune, much play and support : ] Shur-i-kan "Brilliant, there is no stopping this man. Nathan Boddy (Office Gossip / Winding Road) These tracks are really really really good. Really feeling 'Never Be Right'. Production sounds amazing! Atnarko These tracks are so right they are wrong... or is it the other way :) Anyways never be wrong is wicked def my pick of the two. always love your stuff ! Scope / Ric McLelland (Urbantorque / Plastic City) Great stuff fella.. would play both of these np's.. Christian Smith (Bedrock / Rennaisance) i totally love your stuff. this one included. both tracks are very useful for different times in my sets. proper modern house!!!! many thanks. full support! Luca Agnelli thanks, i like Never be wrong, i think i will play in my next set. good music! Jay Tripwire loving it doood!! never be wrong is perfect for what iam playing, nice and deep with a great mixdown and a solid groove. Subsky (Forensic / Plastic City / Urbantorque) Excellent stuff! looking forward to play them at the club! Timmy Stewart (Mode / Aciitone) Andy must have forwarded these on to me. Loving them both! Gonna give Never Be Wrong a road test in my warm up for Garnier this Fri. Master H (Soma / Urbantorque) Will play Never Be Right...... Thanks for the music H Quarion (Drumpoet Community) Yeah I like this one! I want to make seeeerios bizness too! Darko Esser (Wolfskuil Records) Beautiful dreamy tracks … me like! Maurice (Galactika Records) Cool House Tracks! Spin Science Amazing piece mate! Knee Deep (Defected) I’m a big Milton fan, great stuff thanks! Sei A (Droido / Missive / Seinan / Imprime) 2 Very strong tracks from Milton - that's no surprise though. The key change in "Never Be Right" brilliant. The tough groove of "Never Be Wrong" - Superb package. Thanks Bruno Banner (Village Deep) Hey, Nice tracks, thanks a lot Alland Byallo never be wrong. SO good! i'm getting my tunes ready for my first time @ panorama bar, and will love playing that! Never be right - deep and gorgeous, with that solid pump to it. i love the drums! Leon Louder I like them both a lot -- but especially never be right, I dig the wobble of it, and the overall un-boringness. Rob Warner (New Zealand) thanks for the tune. I'll definitely be playing 'Never Be Right'. I love it... as with most of Milton's stuff it is bang-on-the-money. Darran Nugent (Aruba / Elevation) ‘Never Be Right’ has a very nice deep, dirty ‘n moody vibe going on – like the groove on this a lot. ‘Never Be Wrong’ is superbly infectious with a serious bounce to it. Two quality tracks that I will be supporting and hammering to bits!! Peter Jay (Immigrant Industries) dope! Keep doin what ur doin Milton. Im feelin it Andy Riley (Inland Knights) 'never be wrong' my fav, great stuff The Littlemen good techy stuff ... bit darker than what we normally play, but Never Be Wrong might well get a run out! Gary Beck (Mezzotinto / Freak n Chic) Never Be right what a tune, love it. nice one man Harold Heath thanks for sending, Never be Wrong is the one i'll be playing, top quality gear as usual, full support from me :o) Gordon Logan (Seinan / Worship / Tronicsole) these bits are unreal, prob my fav tunes you have done to date - so far up my street they are in my front room watching eastenders and drinking tea and shouting at my girlfriend to put some pizza in the oven. already charted on my list to dispersion and will probably play non - deep but tough and little soulful snippets - really awesome man - cant wait to hear more Mark August (Connaisseur/Cocoon) never be wrong is totally my cup of tea! gonna play this tomorrow at the festival for sure and chart it in my upcoming september chart thanx for this. Follow Up : it rocked big time saturday at the lief festival here in holland went down like a treat :-) Murray Richardson (20/20 Vision / Nordic Trax) realy into this one, never be wrong for me - top stuff - charted! Bamo (Spiritchaser) Thanks for these 2 nice, and handy might i add... little grooves, i like alot! Jason Kilka (Traffic Mag) Thanks for the tracks, both are great. They will be reviewed in our Octover issue and I'll definately play 'Never be Wrong' at Techniques opening night on 27th! Mr. Statik (Athens) yes, sir, all is here, lovely two tracker, will play both but “never be wrong” is the one that stands out for me! ;) again thanx a lot, all the best from steaming athens! Scott Udberg (Habit / Newcastle) Barry, Cheers for the tracks. Really into Never Be Wrong..... Will definitely play that! Giom Soundz "Wrong" is my favourite, amazing production on both tracks though... Thanks a lot for these Category: Production Stuff -- posted at: 4:48 AM Comments[5] |

Tue, 2 September 2008 I'm sure everyone is just as excited as I am about the launch of STS-125, the final Hubble Telescope servicing mission. At an orbital height of 400 miles this will be the highest man flies until 2016, when the new Moon missions are launched. There's a pretty cool picture essay here to check out. Tue, 24 June 2008 No mix from me this month due to mixfatigue, however Affi Koman takes
the reins with this notable guest mix. His sets are rather tasty at the
excellent Sunday Circus day/night here in Glasgow. Here's some
info. Affi Koman is a 24 year old Glasgow based DJ/producer holding residencies at 2 of the best nights in his home city: Sunday Circus - an all day party which is a sell out every month and sees Mattias Tanzmann guesting in July to celebrate their 1st birthday and Noodle, a bi-monthly dose of Hi Definition, electronic madness with guests such as Afrilounge and Jamie Jones. He has played alongside some of the underground's biggest names; Radio Slave, Williams and Martinez to name a few and is currently working on tracks which are set to come out later this year. You can check out his music here on his myspace Tracklist 1)Patrick Zigon - Mental Draining (Agnes Remix) 2)Johhny D - Tramodyssee and Kabale & Lauhaus - Makake 3)Mark Henning - Sick Note 4)JPLS - Isolate 5)Matt Star - Hypno and Josh One - Contemplation 6)Phonogenic - Future Beats 7)Maetrik - Choose Your System 8)Dilo and Gurtz - Tundra 9)Solomun - Flying Pics 10)Jens Bond - Wasted 11)Dan Curtin - Glance Comments[2] |

Mon, 7 April 2008 A great weekend in London playing at AKA with Jimpster and Matt Masters. Had to get my photo took for press stuff (oh noes don't like cameras) and it was great to (finally!) meet Tom who also works at Freerange. Then BA decided to cancel every flight in the world because of a nano-metre of snow. 1 expensive hotel and 24 hours later back in Glasgow and thoroughly miffed with British Airways. I hope Willie Walsh is on the receiving end of a BA cancellation and the complete disdain with which BA staff treat you in said situation. Anyhoo rant over now!
